Martha Christine White Foundation
"The White family was special to me as a boy. They paid my way to Christian summer camps and
served as my role models. I never dreamed that one day I would be a steward of what they had achieved financially--
that I would be able to use what they had to bring good into the world," said Rochester.
Christine White died early, but before she did, she left the family funds in a Foundation. Rochester and two others were
appointed as Board Members to The Martha Christine White Foundation. They have supported many worthy projects. Some of
these projects include awarding college scholarships for high school seniors; supporting Romanian orphanages; funding
numerous mission trips; giving to the arts, local high school bands, high school beta clubs, Christian radio, and numerous
local churches.
"I like to think that Christine is smiling down on us for all those we have helped in her name," said Judge Rochester. "If there was one project that most touched my heart, it would be our appropriation to an orphanage for Romanian children with AIDS."
